“I have a Nook HD/HD+ and I was wondering if I am able to transfer some digital copy movies (comes with my Blu-ray and DVD disc) on it so I can watch them from the tablet?”
This is a question put up recently by my friend Jack. In response to his query, I write this article for him and other new hands to learn how to watch Digital Copy movies on an Android tablet like Nook HD or HD Plus. To make it clear, the whole process of transferring Digital Copy movies to Nook HD is separated into 3 parts.
Part 1. Transfer Digital Copy movies to your computer (PC or Mac)
Usually your Digital Copy is available on a disc included with your purchase or available on the internet. You may transfer your physical "Digital Copy" to your PC or Mac computer, or redeem your Digital Copy from specified website. When a Digital Copy movie is downloaded to Windows PC, it comes in WMV or M4V format; when a Digital Copy movie is transferred to Mac, it is saved as M4V videos.

Part 2. Convert Digital Copy movies to FREE video on computer
Digital copy extends the enjoyment of your DVD or Blu-ray purchase, but the movie industry uses DRM (Digital Rights Management) to lock down Digital Copy videos to authorized PC and media players only, and the Digital Copy will not play on unauthorized devices due to protection. Unfortunately the Android devices have not get a license to play DRM contents, which means Digital Copy movies will not even play on the Nook HD/HD+. You need to strip DRM protection and convert Digital Copy to Nook HD/HD+ playable format MPEG4 or H.264 first.
Here you need a DRM removal tool, pick up one for your Windows or Mac computer:
Follow the steps to get rid of the protections:
Step 1. Run Pavtube ChewTune, click “Add” button on the main interface to Digital Copy movies, or you may drag and drop the movies to the software.
Step 2.Click “Format” bar and select a playable format for Nook Tablet, and here you’re suggested to choose “Android>> Nook Tablet (*.mp4)” format, which is designed especially for Nook tablets to compress movies to less than 2GB.
Step 3. Click “Convert” to create DRM-free Digital Copy movies. The conversion proceeds as Windows Media Player or iTunes plays the movies in background.
Step4. When conversion completes, click “Open” to locate the DRM-free movies.
Part 3. Transfer FREE Digital Copy movies to Nook HD/HD+
