Step 1: With the USB cable to attach the Droid X to your computer.
Step 2: On the Droid X, slide the Notifications box down and tap USB connection. (If you are the first time to connect the Droid X to your PC, you will be reminded of installing the Motorola Drive. Just install it.)
Step 3: Tap USB Mass Storage and then tap OK.
Step 4: Under My computer/Computer for Windows users or on the Finder for Mac users on your computer, open the drive that represents your device.
Step 5: Create a folder named Pictures, and transfer/copy the supported photo files over to the Pictures folder.
Step 6: Unmount the SD card after the desired pictures are transferred to the Pictures folder.
Now, you can view the copied picture or photos in the Gallery app on the Droid X anytime anywhere.
