How are you doing with your Asus Eee Pad Transformer? Have you tried to stream media content to your Asus Eee Pad Transformer from digital media server (DMS) on local Wi-Fi, so that you needn't do the annoying transfers from PC to your tablet?
This article tells the way to stream Blu-ray or DVD movies to Asus Eee Pad Transformer via family WLAN.
For WLAN streaming, you should first install DMS program on your PC or Mac -- like Twonkey Media Server -- and a media file of DLNA supported format, in which BD/DVD disc is not included. Refer to DLNA on Android Tablets for supported media formats of DLNA. We recommend to use our Blu-ray ripping tool for the task. It's simple and convenient.
Here are a few steps for ripping Blu-ray movies to DLNA supported MPEG-4 AVC format:
Step1: Run Foxreal Blu-ray Ripper and put in your Blu-ray or DVD disc. Click first icon on top-left corner of the interface to load the disc.
Step2: Click "Settings" button to set output profile. As for DLNA streaming, select a proper bitrate and resolution based on your WLAN bandwidth with the codec of MPEG-4 AVC and format of mp4.
Step3: Choose export directory in output box, then click "Convert" button and wait until finished.
It's as easy as above three steps.
Now, turn on your DMS program and select the converted movie file on your Eee Pad Transformer. Of course, make sure you have installed required app in your tablet as a digital media player (DMP).
