Step 1: Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is up and running.
Step 2: Turn on the DLNA device you plan to connect your Droid X and ensure that it is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
Step 3: Open the apps tray on the Droid X and select the DLNA app. (If a message asking to turn on Wi-Fi connection pops up, just touch Yes and turn on Wi-Fi for the Droid X through the settings menu.)

Step 4: Touch Share media under the DLNA screen and choose the media file (videos, music or photos) you want to watch on the My shared media screen. Then touch OK.

Step 5: Successfully connect the hardset to desired DLNA device. A green DLNA logo will appear in the status bar.
