Part I: Put video on Droid X.
To start, I think it may be necessary to introduce you how to sync different types of format video to Droid X. Because as we know, Droid X does not support all video formats, it only supports AAC, H.263, H.264, MP3, MPEG-4, WAV, eAAC+, WMA v10, MIDI, AAC+.
In order to make the video playable on Droid X, we need to convert the video to the compatible format. And you can use Foxreal Video Converter to realize it. Here is a brief instruction.
Step 1: Launch Foxreal Droid X Video Converter. Then click the import button to load the file you want to convert.
Step 2: Choose the best compatible video format for Droid X. You can type in Droid X in the search bar or directly select “Android - > Motorola Droid (X) H.264 Video (*.mp4)”. You can also click “Settings” to adjust video and audio parameters. And format Video H.264 (*.mp4) at 1500 bitrate and 23.97 frame rate with 854*480 resolution is highly recommended. How to Stream Droid X Video to AV Receiver via HDMI?

Step 1: Ensure the devices are connected and turned on. For example the AV Receiver has been connected to HDTV or the Home Theater devices have been connected successfully.
Step 2: Set HDMI format for Droid X. You can touch Droid X Menu - > Settings - > HDMI.
Step 3: Connect Droid X to AV Receiver or Home Theater with HDMI cable. Insert one end (small one) into Droid X port and the other end into the HDMI input of AV Receiver or Home Theater.
Step 4: Use the remote control to choose the right HDMI input.
Step 5: Play Droid X Video via AV Receiver or Home Theater. You can touch Droid X Launcher icon - > Home Sync Wizard - > Start and then choose the related device for playback. Or you can just press the tiny HDMI icon on the top left corner of the screen to enable the HDMI streaming. Then you can just use your Droid X to control the playback of the H.264 codec high quality video on AV Receiver or Home Theater.
