Blu-ray Ripper / Blu-ray Ripper for Mac

I own a Motorola Xoom (Wifi), and bought it primarily for watching videos and movies. I travel quite a bit, so a tablet seemed to be the right way to go for long flights (watching videos on the iPhone was getting old). I struggled with finding a good Blu-ray ripper to convert for the Xoom. I was using DVDFab, and it was producing very choppy videos, no matter what I tried. So I tried Pavtube. Out of the box (no changes in configuration), it produced exactly what I wanted, which was a clear, unchoppy rip of my Blu-ray movies. Further tweaking is producing even better results. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with this product, its support team, everything about it. Very happy, and highly recommended. --- PJ
Hi,I own a Samsung Galaxy S2 and i've had no luck getting movies to work on my phone using Samsungs Movie site. After a bit of searching i came across your site and saw your program for ripping blu rays. Taking a gamble i paid for it straight away without even using the trial version. It paid off because its the best ripping program i've used in years. After a few clicks i was converting and transfering my movies onto my device in great quality. I can't recommend your software enough. A great piece of kit and so easy to use. You have one VERY happy customer, thankyou.. --- Chris
I like the fact that it will do BluRay videos. --- Chris
What attracts me most is GUI layout and ability to customize the resolution. --- James P**
The ability to convert both DVD and blu-ray was a key factor. I google'd video converter for Xoom, and your product came up, and looked better than others I had looked at. --- Stephen J**
Looks easy to use, with good output and instructions for my new Motorola Xoom. --- Peter A**
I found out that the best conversion to play on my Xbox 360 is Wmv. Very good picture, but the sound can be better …! The best I can do with “Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper” now is: Windows Media Audio 10 Professional - 440 kbps, 48 kHz, 5.1 channel 16 bit (A/V) 1-pass CBR --- Serge
I like Pavtube software.--- Claudio.
I was attracted by the low price compared to other programs I have looked at, plus obviously the support for mobile devices given that I wanted to play the movies on my Xoom. --- Wdereu
Looks good, easy to handle, stable. I convert only the main movie to Mpeg2 (with AC3 5.1) or Wmv (with Wma pro). Always with the best quality. Still looking to gain the best audio and video quality from a Blu-Ray to play on a big screen with Xbox360 and Beamer …I use the Xbox 360 (Windows Media Center, with Media Browser ( http://www.mediabrowser.tv/ )) and a Beamer to see my movies in High Definition. For that reason I have to convert my DVD’s and Blu-Ray’s to put on my Server. Until now I used “AVS Video Converter” to convert my DVD and Blu-Ray movies. (Very good picture, no stutter on AC3 sound) With DVD I had no problems, but with Blu-Rays the program did not find all the Subtitle and audio files. For example: no Dutch subtitles and only the Directors cut audio. For that reason I searched on Google for something better. (keywords: Blu-Ray converter / Ripper). I tried a lot of software, Pavtube was the best in my test. Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper finds every file I need: the conversion is very good, but the 5.1 sound can be better …--- Serge
speed is great. I really like the way it creates mpgs out of Blu-ray. nice product!!!! --- Jim
|
Pretty good to me I wouldn’t change it much --- Troy |
I am currently testing several programs in an attempt to find the best one for me. I am ripping for my HTPC, iPad, and girlfriends color nook. Your Video and Audio sync were one of the best I tested.
I have used only the higher resolution output format for the iPad. I will also use whatever works with the Droid X. My primary use is to convert DVDs for viewing on the road using the devices that I already bring. I am aware of the CUDA technology. It was a significant factor in my purchasing Pavtube’s product. Anything short of instantaneous conversion is too slow. :-) However, the conversion speed seems reasonable. My primary use is to find the major content and only to convert this to my output format. Overall, the product does exactly what I purchased it for. --- Paul
Very good software. I backup all my movies and since I work overseas I put them on an external and watch them after work. Generally BlueRay is too large so I do AVI 720 copy, but for regular DVDs I do Full Copy. It works good as long as you can keep up with the new copyright protection this software is great the way it is. --- Tony
I have CUDA. It is pretty much real time speed in converting. Very Fast. --- Alan
I have started using the Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper and it works very well. For output, I am selecting Divx and.AVI. And I use the converted .AVI files for viewing with my Shuttle M2000 Multimedia Center running Media Center 2005 hooked up to my Sony HD TV. Playback is excellent. The conversion speed is very good. --- Daniel
I have only backed up one of my movies so far Ironman 2. I converted it to an HD format for playing on Xbox 360. I love that CUDA acceleration is included as I have the hardware to support it. --- Joe
I picked your product because I have a great CUDA card and the speed is important 2.5/3 hours to rip a film, which is great! I normally use the h264/mp4 output for use on my laptop/PS3. --- Matthew
I choose .MP4 for 720p rips to play on an apple TV also containing 5.1 surround and .MKV for container as I use the Digital Soundtrack on a full Fledged Audiophile Surround System. And picture is decent if encoded with the right options. I use the converted video for playback on Hardware. I use the new Boxee Box by D-link and an 1st gen Apple TV. Although the Boxee Box is still Pretty new and firmware needs bugs fixed Output of video quality and audio quality is the same as setting up a computer to output HDMI. --- Justin
I have a DLNA server that I use the software to backup and then put them on it so that I can watch them without the disc. I’m satisfied with the conversion speed, its more important to me that it is reliable. --- Jeff
CUDA is great and speed is fast. --- Steven
I have just gone through 2 Blu-ray burning products and I can’t seem to get the result I need. And it’s happening with this product. --- Onders
I haven't had a chance to use the package yet, but used the trial version a couple of times and was the reason I purchased it. I have used makemkv for many many rips but found lately that I couldn't rip a lot of new blurays. Tried yours and it worked fine every time.--- Brent
I am happy with the product Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper for Mac --- John I**
|
Your product is cool. --- Denis |

Love the programs ease of use. --- Tim
Selecting the files to convert is very easy. Output settings are also easy to fix (merge in one file, output language, format). It would be pleasant to have a french version of the software as I am french speaking. Trying some freewares, I was unable to obtain good results: some softwares can't deal with copy protection, others dont let me select output language (i am french speaking), others dont remove unwanted subtitles. So i made a search on the net and find your site. I downloaded the limited version, tested it and liked it. --- Pierre D**
I like that I don't have to use some pirated software to get past the DRM. Most other software seems to like making it hard for me to watch the movie I paid for, on the Xoom I paid for. (Weird.) I also like the flexibility it gives me to optimize the files for specific devices. (I also have a PSP.) I'm very pleased with Pavtube DVD ripper. It's robust, flexible and does everything I had hoped. ---Marc.
Thus far, I have ripped one movie called Kings Speach on DVD to my Xoom. The picture quality is excellent on my tablet. I also plan on watching movies on my ipod classic. The mp4 format for ipod was done very quickly, the android mp4 h264 took longer, but it was worth the wait. I used the devices internal program to watch the movie. It has work flawlessly so far. What I like the most is the option to watch my movies the way I want to watch them when I want to watch them. This program provides that option for me, thank you. I found out about FDRipper on a google seach keyword dvd ripper for motorola xoom. There are many others out there trying to find a way to copy their movies on to their devices, and it appears that most programs only take them half way there. Video quality is poor, or others complaint about speach delay. I have not experienced any of those problems as of now. I plan on learning more about this program to take full advantage of it. Please keep me posted on any updates to the program I would really appreciate that. Most other companies leave you hanging after a while, but you can leave the rest behind, I did. ---Ernesto Q**
So far the application has been working well. I've been using it to convert my P90X DVDs to be playable on the Xoom. I did a Google search for 'dvd to xoom' and found several forums referring to your application. --- Brian G**
It seems to be working quite well. I am satisfied with the converting speed. I play the output file on a Nook Color Ereader that I just purchased. The software seems to be fairly seamless and easy to use, once you know the correct format parameters. --- Allen M**
I converted a movie using the settings you listed and got an excellent quality. The movie is 2 hours and 25 minutes, and the converted size is 2.8 GB. I have had excellent results on the xoom with all the settings, no pixelation, except when converting an earlier movie that probably has not been digitally enhanced. --- lafitzp
I like the ability to select my device in the pick list and have the software auto-configure the ripping options. I used Google search to find your program. Downloaded and used the software to rip Star Trek. Once I confirmed the product worked as intended I decided to make the purchase. --- Cale
I have started using Pavtube DVD Ripper and it is working out fantastically. The speed at which it can convert was most attractive with support of CUDA to aid in the video processing. --- Jeffski
I downloaded and installed the update from April 5 and it works perfectly, with no messages to be clicked through now. Also, the sub chapters are no longer checked by default, and that is a really good change. --- Lafitzp
I have been very happy with the product speed. I just love that I am able to convert my DVDs to my laptop and zoom. I travel a lot, and storing my movies digitally is so much more convenient. I have no improvement requests at this time. --- lseifrid
So far I'm pleased with the performance of the Pavtube DVD Ripper. I bought it to download movies to my new XOOM. I had to load custom parameters and it took a few tries to get it right. I was disappointed that there was not preset parameters for the XOOM, but there is enough information on the web. I'm very satisfied with your product. --- Darkstyr
Well I use the format for the motorola x atm. And it again very well. The main problem is was having was I fact exactly what that article was about. If only you had sent it 2 days earlier lol. Would have saved me an hour of playing with it but no worries. All in all it was well worth the money. I am very happy with it. And the more I play with it the more I like it. Thanks. --- Billy
first of all, your software works great as far as being able to import it directly to Final Cut Express 4.0.1. I use it to edit "Legal Video Depositions" for my business. Previously I ripped with Wondershare, I spent many hours with Wondershare technical support without success. I gave up on Wondershare software, tried all versions none had the codec you have for Final Cut any of the conversions using .mov had to be rendered. For a 2 hour DVD video it took up to 7 hours to be rendered before I could edit. You can't imagine how your software has helped me. --- Ed R**
Video Converter
---
Your software allows conversion to trim products view I really like the amount of output options, very impressive. Good job. --- Oscar S**
Hi! yes! I use that format, and worked perfectly well, just watched one movie without any problem, full screen on the BlackBerry PlayBook, cool gadget.
It has a fairly broad selection of in and out formats. --- Prescott D**
AVS4YOU fails to see the sound track on some FLV files. That (so far) is the only time I've used Pavtube. --- David C**
I have not played a whole movie using the standard player that comes with the Xoom but I sampled it in different sections beginning, middle, and end to confirm the whole movie transferred and both attempts appear OK. Full screen with these setting appears OK, nice clean crisp images, HDish definitely. I have not checked it versus the VD on an HD TV to be sure if the framing is the same; it looks complete to me. Looks good on the Xoom anyway you cut it. --- Louis G**
Good: Conversion Speed. --- Bob J**
Working great! Speed, batch conversion, and preset output formats (yet still with the ability to customize output format) attract me. Perfect combination of ease of use, speed and custom ability. --- Dan B**
The software works great in conjunction with the Bluray Ripper. It would be nice if they were both combined so I do not need a second program to create my MP4 files from the VOB files I have created. I know I can create MP4 files from the Bluray Ripper but the movies take up so much space it is hard to have both formats stored at all times. ---Chris W**
I used the trail version to convert an MKV to play on my Playbook and was very satisfied with the result, so I purchased the product so I could get rid of the logo. --- Roy
I use it to watch TV shows on my Motorola Droid X. Your product fills up the whole screen. Hooray! The software is easy to use, but it is SLOW to convert files. I would like it to be faster. Tivo's website sells another product to do this conversion, but the online user reviews of the product were horrible. I Googled "video fill screen on droid x" and your product was one of several that came up. The thing that convinced me to try yours first was the free trial. I would not have bought your program without that. I really like your product. Please make it faster!--- Brett
I am experimenting with Pavtube Video Converter as I have time at home when not traveling for work as I am now. It looks like I did successfully convert to fit a movie on my new Motorola Xoom so I will be using that output format which I believe I found under the Droid heading versus HD heading. You came up very high in a Google search for converting a certain format file and I could not find anything else in the first 11 search pages. I ran the trial version and it worked. There you go. --- Lou
I’ve already started to use Foxrealvideo converter. I mainly use it for converting video for my Motorola Xoom. So i usually convert video into H264. As of now it is working really well. Thank you
A friend uses the converter frequently and highly recommended it.--- Michael C
It's working great! The CUDA feature, good quality outputs, the Edit feature actually works well!!! As long as everything continues to work well, it's great like it is! --- Btowsley
I had you bought software because because I had problems with AVS4YOU. The program Pavtube Video Converter works very well so far.(knock on wood). You should make more advertising for your product.--- Richard M**
I googled video conversion software, made a list of the software suggested checked out the websites, reviews, and narrowed it down too Pavtube. :) What appealed to me the most was the large variety of formats available, and caused me to purchase also the Foxreal Blu-Ray Ripper was the great tutorials provided on the website for the software being sold. I really enjoy the Foxreal software and the great customer support provided by this company. --- Alexmex
I really needed a video converter in order to convert all the different formats out there into a file that would be compatible with Adobe Premier Pro. I was excited to see that Pavtube has an output group just for Adobe Premier. --- Msnilles
The reason I use your product is that it is one of the few I could find that supports conversion of Tivo format files. --- Barnes
I was attracted by the simplicity and Vast number of formats that can be converted. --- Heintz
I bought it specifically so that I could do video conversions for a NookColor as a “no brain” click-and-convert package. Seems to be fine so far.
i am using Pavtube most days to compress my video footage and yes i feel it to be great ,need more time to check out all the uses ,like editing my vids to cut out unwanted footage. --- Dmawest
I am strictly using it for converting my vast instructions video collection to use with the iPad. The speed is acceptable. But you know how it is in this day and age, we always want everything NOW! --- Annmichal
The only one I am using at this time is the "Xvid AVI - Audio Video Interleaved(Xvid)(*.avi)" format . I watch the converted files either on my computer, or I place them onto a USB thumbdrive and watch them on my DVD player. The conversion speed is fairly good so far but make it quicker if possible (but doesn't everyone want things to be faster these days when it comes to technology?) --- Stefan
actually I have been using your converter a lot and for the most part it is working quite well. I mostly use it to convert various types of files to MP3 and MKV for my ‘media server’ (i.e., so I can access the files on my computer and listen to music and watch videos via my A/V system). I need to convert formats because my Blu-ray player does not handle other formats such as wmv, m4a, etc. Of course conversions could be faster but I assume you are doing your best to improve that as much as possible. --- Dean H**
|
Satisfied with current converting speed. It's very good now, haven't found anything that needs improvement yet. --- Toby L** |
|
My end use is to watch TV shows converted on iPad and I’m satisfied with the converting speed. --- Debmay |
What I like the most about it is the ability to convert FLV files to WMV or Mpg AND effects to edit/lighten FLV’s when converting. The converting speed is pretty good. I was a bit surprised the first time I ran it. ---Dave
|
I normally use Canopus Procoder 3 to do my video conversions. Typically I convert AVI to WMV for company related video work. However, I am having got convert MTS video shot by our Engineering department and Procoder doesn't seem to do well converting that format. So, I purchased Pavtube to do this conversion. I was blown away with the conversion speed! The first time I converted a video, I thought something was wrong. I was impressed to see a perfect video! |
I think your program is extremely valuable. --- Robert
I always choose to convert video to .avi for replaying on my tv. And converting speed ok. ---Deniel
I choose MP4 as output format and I primarily use iTunes through Apple TV(2) for audio and video. Otherwise Window Media Player on my Windows 7 machine; OR iTunes through Apple TV(2) on Ubuntu Linux I use iTunes through the Windows emulator, "Wine." So far the converting speed seems OK. ---Scott
I use avi (with divx 6) or mpg (with Mpeg-2) as output format; the end use is for TV by transmitting on Dlna; the product is rather great. ---Blaiseber
YouTube FLV Downloader Pro/ YouTube FLV Downloader
---
It works just fine. I bought the Pro because I like to have the best available version of the product I use, and I like to support software companies who have a useful imaginative product. --- Alex
Love it. And I like the converting function – and generally convert to iPad mp4. --- Eduardo
As far as running the program, I like the way I can go to the web site in the program, I like how it shows the options when at the site your working with, and best of all the conversion to MP4 format, so I can put it on a DVD disk. Give me a little more time to get use to it and try more things that it has to offer. I'm a BIG FAN of the KISS saying. --- Jay C. P**
Thank you very much for your programm YouTube FLV Downloader. I have installed it. After using it, I undestend that your product is better than Savetube. com which I used to apply.--- Gelij
My name is Tami, Peter and I are co-workers and I found the program. I love it! We are missionaries with a disaster relief/humanitarian aid organization. Peter and I are in the media department and this program has been great for making videos, especially in getting current natural disaster footage. --- Tami H** & Peter F**
Converting function is good, a little slow but good. Overall a good program, could speed up downloading. --- Debnoznal
The product is working great. I'm very happy with it. I've been downloading from various kid related sites to create DVDs for my son. I would like something in the app that tells me what is the best conversion format for making say a DVD. That would be beneficial. The sheer number of formats you can convert to amazes me and I don't know if I'll ever use that many, but appreciate having them as options. Perhaps a little more info about them would be helpful or if there is info in the help files, please let me know about it. --- Exils
Satisfied with the speed. Only few of these software available, really. --- Ambarian
The program works fine. I'm not such a specialized user. I got from YouTube a song (with video) I knew and liked, but I couldn't play. So I looked for something useful and found Pavtube FLV Converter. --- Gianfranco
I usually select 720p Divx HD for my plasma HDTV and 960x640 MP4 for my iPhone 4. I care a lot about the CUDA acceleration and that is what attracted me to your product. I am satisfied with the speed, though it would be nice if it could take advantage of more than one nV GPU and more control over GPU selection for CUDA conversion and multiple GPU enabling for faster conversion.. By the way, your software is great and about a million times more stable and useful than Badaboom, which frankly seems like a senior project for a high school kid. --- Phillip P**
It is very easy to use. Searched “how to play video on Nook” and found link in discussion forums. Glad that I could download free test version, so I could verify that it would work. --- Pcraze
I have only used the programme a few times so far and not explored all feature, (I think). I have converted YouTube videos (from free downloader) to full screen size at mpeg-2 video format using the Pavtube video converter programme I purchased. End use is to be able to play back films on my PC. I would ultimately like to place these video files onto DVD to play back on TV but I do not know if I can do this?? Converting speed for me is fine. At moment, for me, your product is fine. --- Rjbaker
Recently, I had to do a college presentation and I used a portion of the you-tube video, along with a MP3 recorded conversation and composed a movie using Windows Movie Maker software. The software is convenient. To be honest, I had tried several different FLV downloader before I tried yours. Your software had the simplest, most user friendly version. Thank you! --- Maury L**
|
This is Ross from New Zealand. I am enjoying using your software, the applications I have used appear to be working well. I have downloaded videos from YouTube and Dailymotion. End use is to burn to DVD using Windows DVD Maker. I consider the converting function to be a very important part of your program as it allows me to transfer files to other media independent of my computer. |
Product has worked great. I am a mac user and there are many very user friendly flash video capture programs available for mac. At work I have to use a PC, this software is as easy to use as mac and just as dependable. Thanks!! --- Nick
Download from Youtube and then put them on Nook Color and Windows Phone 7 for playback. Convert is easy. I use MPEG-4 (.mp4) for my Nook. Returning to your home page I found info on the Nook Color suggesting the Droid (X) profile. This one works perfectly, fills the Nook screen, and the quality is excellent. I can now use this one program for all my needs, including my Windows 7 phone. Many thanks! --- Judy
Purchased Pavtube Video Downloader Pro. Was looking for something to convert video for my Nook Color and this worked perfect after some experimentation. One suggestion - with the popularity of the Nook a profile pre-designed for this device would be great and save a lot of time trying to figure out which profile to use. Thanks for a good product. --- Judyw
Converting functuon quick and easy. --- Mark
want to download the music and video or any stories, and i think is a good quality to use.
It took a couple of attempts to figure out which MPEG file was best for HD playback. I have not tried to do a 1080p conversion – I’m not sure if the flash files on the TV websites would even be of sufficient quality to make a 1080p file, but they make great 720p files. Mostly, I wanted this service as a time-shifting device like a DVR to temporarily store and replay TV episodes that were missed or did not get recorded on the DVR. It works very well for this purpose, though. --- David P**
Oh I use the converting function everytime, love it, and I convert to .3gp for HTC incredible. --- Matthew
Mainly download from Youtube and the converting function is really excellent. --- Richard
The software was acquired to capture and convert a specific UTube presentation. It worked flawlessly. --- Michel L**
Very good, and easy to use.--- Bryan
Loved it! Everything works just fine.--- Edward
My son put your program on my computer, as we or I sometimes will download videos from YouTube and put on a CD for our church. I don't use it that often, but it is easy to use and I like it very much. My son uses it all the time and swears by it. I honestly haven't done much with it since he put it on my computer. Been busy with other things. But I will soon, in fact I need to get busy learning more on how to use it.--- Ellen
The software works great! I had a really hard time finding software that would deal with the FLV videos that I already had, but FLV Downloader Pro was able to convert them. Thanks for great software and a reasonable price. --- Dthirlwell
I like your program, there is no need to have something running, when I have no need for downloading.--- Poul
I have started to use Pavtube YouTube Downloader Pro and it is working great!!!--- Edward
I downloaded, installed and tried your "YouTube FLV Downloader Pro", which I found at the GiveAwayOfTheDay-website. The downloader really looks good and works great, so thanks very much for that!--- Lockerbie
Your FLV Downloader Pro is a great program. I download from many different sites and I usually transfer downloads to disk and send to my brother. --- James E
Hey Pavtube, I really like all your softwares and downloaded demo for them, but I needed a video converter so I bought yours... I appreciate buying it since other free video downloaders aren’t the best like this.--- Arabalian
I usually download video from YouTube and turn them into DVDs to use in worship...I am a pastor. I think it is smooth and easy to use. For the moment I think it is great...allows me to find movies, download and convert with ease...not sure how to make it better at the moment.--- John
I exclusively download videos from YouTube(so far) for playback on my pc. I am stuck on dial up service and the download rate using the Pavtube program is much faster than trying to just view the video. I love the converting function. Very easy to use. In my opinion, at this point there is nothing you could do to improve this software. It works great! I have enjoyed using your product and have been recommending it to friends and family. --- Colleen
I have only used it once.....so I;m a newby.....but I really like it.--- Matt
I almost invariably download from Youtube. Occasionally I download from embedded videos in RCGroups.com or Wattflyer.com. Keep the videos for future reference in my hobby - radio controlled aircraft. I also download video from places I used to work overseas. I normally keep videos in FLV but sometimes convert for use on one of my Macs. Te interface is easy to use. I downloaded from Tucows after trying some other freeware programs which proved unreliable or clunky.--- Hadrian
As a professor of shipping marketing, I am interested in downloading the corporate videos of shipping companies (in order to examine them with my students as case studies). And I use the "FOX REAL YOUTUBE PRO PLAYER”. The Converting function is fantastic. It is very useful. Conclusively, your product is perfect. --- PARASKEVI
Hey Guys! I cannot thank you enough for developing such a great product! Thank you!--- Roger
The program is very helpful. I download and then convert video to mp3 for transfer to my windows media player folder and my cellular phone. The software as far as I have used it is fine. --- Brenda
I have tried various sites FLV files have been successful. I am very impressed with the converter function that has worked every time without a glitch. I use AVI and MP4 most of the time but have also tried MPEG. I have not had a chance to try the UPnP function yet but certainly will in the near future. I would like to see a function to download from a site without going through your access site to cover FLV downloads when discovered while surfing. Maby this is already covered and I have not found how to accomplish this yet. Thanks for a great software product. --- Carl
I used it and it is excellent for all videos that i have downloaded. This is the best program I've seen so far.It downloads all types of videos to desktops or mobiles. Excellent software. Before i had one which only downloads from youtube but this is superb as it downloads from any video site.this is the best in the market. I used to download videos from video armada which i had for 2 years but now i used Pavtube as its much better.Video armada just downloads videos from youtube. I download videos which interest me so i put in on my phone or desktop. The convert function is excellent. It puts in straight to mobile and desktop. its a superb excellent site. Nothing to improve. From google search engine. I typed ''download videos from youtube to pc''. I did a trial version and was really interested. The website was very helpful. --- Mohamed
great software and worth the upgrade to pro version. Mainly download fromYouTube and I place video clips into Music software to create miniature background/film music scores. The converting function is Fantastic – my reason for upgrading to Pro - it saves having to put the downloaded files through another piece of software to convert. I use mainly .AVI for end product, but also other formats - .mpeg4, .mov .wmv? --- David
We have already started to use Pavtube YouTube FLV Downloader Pro and it is working perfectly. We usually download video from YouTube and client websites. And pulling Audio and taking videos from one client site to another when we don't have the original reel or footage. It's pretty darned cool just the way it is. I subscribe to Software Informer. Your software was a daily give away with the free installation. I took advantage of it. When I upgraded my Java, the version I had crashed...so, ya'll helped me fix it and I purchased the license. I kinda realized what a valuable tool it was for my business as well as my personal dorking habits. :) --- Miranda
I most dowload from youtube or search information in different websites. I am using it for my websites, for my websites I need FLV, so I search on flv dowload and found Pavtube, i tried the trail version and was amazed about the functions, so I bought the program, I did not used the UPnP function jet but I will try soon, I can’t think of something to improve, I think its nice, easy to work with and it works without surprises, I’m really glad i found it. --- Henk
I recently downloaded the free version of FLV downloader and have successfully downloaded several You Tube video clips. That’s great! --- Rjbaker
It is good and easy to use. --- Michael K**
The software is very robust at reading even bad Flv files, which other software won't. --- Kwame Wallace
Having purchased other programs via the internet in the past and discovering that the post purchase support was sometimes minimal or nonexistent it is good to know that Pavtube offers genuine support. --- Caryneliot
I thought I had a synch problem but I was viewing an .AVI file converted from .FLV using another program. I tested your program with a number of different .FLV files and none of the resulting .AVI files had synch problem. From now on I will use Pavtube. Thanks for a great product. --- Richard
I love the product. I use to convert flv files into something I can edit with easily. --- Frank
We bought it because among the others that are similar to yours (Pavtube and Aunsoft), only you guys have the ability to expand the editing screen, so that it is easier to maneuver. Honestly, the editing is pretty poor, but for trimming the beginning and end of our Church services it works okay. --- Esskay
My Daughter in London found your company on line and suggested I try it. I was downloading music videos from youtube to realplayer and trying to convert them to play on my ipod. It was driving me mad as so many would not convert. I spoke to my Daughter and she advised me to try your product. I downloaded the free trial and was amased how easy it was, especially for me, so I ordered the proper one and have not looked back. Great product is all I can say. You saved the rest of my hair coming out!!!!!. Thank You. Jim Boyes. --- Jim

First of all I should like to say that your Converter is working perfectly without any remarks. Thank you and your company for such a good product. I follow the simplest way and used the search system www.yandex.ru (my favorite search engine) and then find your company. Keywords are again the simplest – Converter from FLV into 3GP. After some investigation different proposal I came to decision to get in touch with your company, as your company looks like responsible. I do not feel sorry that I have chosen your company. Thank you very much once more. If I need some other program I shall contact you.--- Gelij
it is working like a charm ... simple and effective. For now ... we're just smiling. Thanks for a brilliant product. --- Claus

I miss the possibility to flip horizontal and vertical, the picture in the process. I, and several with me, sometimes use the camera up side down. --- Post
I`ve started to use the Foxreal MTS/M2TS converter already and it was exactly what I was looking for. I tried the trial before buying it so I was pretty sure it could fit in my workflow. The user friendly interface and how fast it can convert attract me. I don`t really like to have many different tools for the same purpose so the more formats it can convert the better. --- Chass
I found this program through a few google searches and have fallen inlove with it literally, the UI is perfect, the options and abilities are perfect as well . --- Vin
Your product is awesome. Reason I chose you guys is your web site was perfect and downloaded the software quickly with no glitches. --- Jeffswert
The abobe/sony vegas settings are the most impressive in terms of iMovie11 editing h.264 directly without conversion to AIC. I only use this setting. Forum recommendations and trial version made the decision easy. I was already using fmpeg to convert eh MTS containers to a quicktime readable format, but your software made the whole process a lot easier. I actually purchased this PavtubePavtube MTS/M2TS version by mistake, i meant to buy the slightly more expensive "Video converter" for all formats. ---David

Pavtube has an opportunity to be a real switz army knife for folks producing multimedia stuff like me... --- Andrew
Compress fast and have fexible parameters --- Tony
I tried many MTS-to-ProRes converters and Pavtube was the only one that I found reliable. Batch rendering is a great thing for a converter, as I usually leave the computer working on videos overnight. Also the flexibility to frame resizing, framerate pulldown/up and color consistency. --- Fernando
I got this for the sole purpose of converting large numbers of files shot on a Canon 5D MkII. They are h264 so not great for editing in final cut. I batch convert them to prores first. It seems to work without freezing out. Apples compressor is what we normally use but when doing very large batches at once compressor just freezes. --- Kurt
I bought your converter because ClipWrap was having trouble with several MTS files from one card. Google search – convert MTS to ProRes Free. And I used the watermarked trial to test several files before purchasing. --- Johnh
A friend who is a professional in this items, recommended it. --- Larrinaga
I’m satisfied with the converting speed. --- Tss
We are using Pavtube MTS/M2TS Converter on a Mac which we've designated as a media transcoding station. The primary target is Apple Intermediate Codec for editing in Final Cut Express. Students often use their own cameras and need to transcode their media to a format Final Cut Express supports. We use iMacs and XGA projectors for screening video. The straight forward interface and simple to set up batch mode attract us. Students find it easy to use. But,there are so many options. There should be a mode that hides the too many choices. But that's OK, we've created a CUSTOM SETTING and we tell students to use that one. ---David
Pro Res is what I needed. Hope that you can add more formats with more frame rates with Pro res. --- James
I have final cut pro, I use a lot Pavtube as the log and transfert option is unstable with my avchd cam. Your software is simple and easy to use and has the range of convertion format. --- Laurent
The only app I have found which can process files from my Topfield Masterpiece HD video recorder and convert them to formats other applications can play. I would like it if it could convert from 3:4 to widescreen aspect ratio. --- Ron
What is the best with your converter is apple prores support. We tried many converters and only yours supported apple prores. It would be nice to have some function to trim videos already in converter (or does this work already?:) --- Gregor
Compared to other video encoders that make FLV and WMV files this works great and is super inexpensive! Some $1000 plus encoders don't work as well as HD Video Converter does and are not nearly as easy to use. --- B***K D**N
