Unfortunately you can't download music or movies from within the Media Player app, having instead to go to Google Play or Toshiba Places (which is also included) to feed your content hunger. Within Toshiba Places you can download music tracks and movies - however neither offered a great range of content, with the movie option a real disappointment.
It’s easy to transfer videos to for playback. As an Android Honeycomb tablet, the Toshiba AT200 supports most popular video codecs and formats- H.264, DivX, XviD, MPEG4, H.263, WMV, AVI, 3GP, etc. But some videos, like MKV and VOB, just don’t play on Android. In that case you will need an Android Video Converter that helps you reformat the videos before hand. Convert MKV, AVI, VOB, Tivo, MTS, MPG, WMV, FLV/F4V videos for Toshiba AT200
