    Q5: I want to import my HD video from AVCHD camcorder to my Final Cut Pro for editing. How to make it?
    A:
    Click "Format > Final Cut Pro" to fast choose the appropriate format for Final Cut Pro you need with ease. (Note: Only Final Cut Pro 6 or higher supports editing Apple ProRes formats. )
    For Final Cut Pro 6, 7 or higher:
    ***To keep a nice balance between image quality and file size, you'd better choose Apple ProRes 422 (LT) (*.mov) format.
    ***To edit video offline with Final Cut Server, you should choose Apple ProRes 422 (Proxy) (*.mov) format.
    ***To retain the maximum possible quality of video files for editing, you could choose Apple ProRes 4444 (*.mov) format.
    For Final Cut Pro 5 or lower:

    Q7: How to get rid of stripes from my HD videos shot by JVC camcorder?
    A: After importing the HD files into this Mac video converter, you can follow the below to help you remove stripes from your video. Select the HD video file and click on the Edit icon on the top button of the program, a Video Editor window will pop up. Click on "Effect" tab and then check "Deinterlacing", the stripes will disappear from your JVC HD video. (Note: The option is checked by default in this program.)

    Q10: Can I install the program on both my computers?
    A: Sorry. One single license of the Mac video converter can only work on one single personal computer. So, you couldn't use one copy of the software on your two computers.

    Q13: Why is the output file so big and why does it take so much time for the conversion?

    : Actually it has something to do with several factors: source file types, the output profile settings and the computer environment, etc. Generally the higher bitrate and frame rate, the higher quality but the larger file size and the longer it will take. Also the faster the processor, the faster the conversion speed.



    Q14: How to cut off black bars or edges from my videos?
    A: Click the Edit icon to open the Editor panel. Just choose the Crop tab and drag the green frame on the video screen of the original window to cut off those unwanted parts to make it.
    Check Keep Original Aspect Ratio for the edited video if you need.
