Step 1: Open the video-sharing website(s) from Foxreal Video Website Library or type in the URL of the video sharing-site(s) you plan to download. If you like, you can open several video websites at the same time like other browsers.
Step 2: Detect video URL for download. After opening the video-sharing site, the YouTube grabbder can auto-capture video URL when the video is playing. If you open several videos at the same time, the program is also able to detect the video URLs automatically in batch for you.
Step 3: Create download task. Select the video URL in the detection list section and click
to create the video download task(s). Then the New Downloader window will appear:
URL: Display the video URL auto-captured to download from the video-sharing website.
Save as: Rename the downloaded FLV file under the “Save as”. Otherwise, the program will save the downloaded Flash video file as its default name.
Save to: Click the “Browse” button to determine where to save the downloaded online FLV/F4V video file.
Library: Choose where you want to save the download web video in library, movie or music.
UPnP: Allow you to share videos to UPnP supported devices or to other UPnP-clients
Convert to video: Check “Convert to video”, the program will allow you to download and convert the Internet video to other audio/video formats (like MKV, MP4, 3GP, DVD, MOV, MPG, VOB, AVI, WMV, H.264, etc.)
Convert to: Choose an output format for converting.
Settings: Adjust audio and video parameters, like Codec, Size, BitRate and FrameRate of Video and Codec, SampleRate, BitRate and Channels of Audio.
Dest folder: Determine where to save the converted file on your PC by clicking the “Browse”.
File name: Rename the converted file name. Otherwise, the program will save the converted file as the default name automatically.
Step 4: Start to download/convert online video(s). Click “OK” in the New Download window, the YouTube video downloading task(s) will begin in the Downloader section. Also, you can view the detailed information of the downloading file(s), like File name, Total Size, Elapsed Time, Time Remaning, Download Speed, etc.
After the video downloading, the interface will switched to the Converter section as below:
Once the YouTube/online video conversion is done, you can click
to watch the converted web video file with its independent Flash video player.
